BNSF advises that on September 15, 2008, it will implement a new method of posting LETP classes across the BNSF System that will standardize the process for all Ground Service employees across the System and provide a one-source data retrieval for Road Foremen to assist in decisions regarding successful LETP candidates.

A PowerPoint Presentation will be placed on the www.bnsf.com website by the end of this week. It outlines the method of accessing LETP postings, as well as the method for selecting and bidding on LETP classes in each individual’s order of preference.

Later this week there will be a General Notice published on all 14 Divisions, advising TYE of the change and directing them to the website to review the information that is being provided in the mail note.

Also, this information will be presented on BNSF TV at locations that have access to the network.

If TYE employees have additional questions regarding the changes, the Administrative Center will be trained in teaching how the software works and can help “walk” employees through the process of accessing and bidding on LETP classes.
