Results are in for the election of a new General Chairperson to replace Robert Kerley, who will assume the duties of his new position as Vice President effective January 1, 2008.

Of the 65 ballots mailed to our Local Chairpersons, 61 were returned. Three of those were ruled invalid, leaving 58 ballots counted. First Associate General Chairperson Gary Virgin (St. Paul, MN office) received 27 votes, and Second Associate General Chairperson Steve Green (Nixa, MO office) received 31 votes. Thus, Steve Green is elected General Chairperson.

Congratulations to Steve, and thanks to both candidates for their continued commitment and service to this General Committee. With Steve's elevation to General Chairperson, we will now solicit nominations for an election to replace him as Second Associate General Chairperson.
