BNSF's investigation of recent accidents has confirmed that employees involved were using their personal cell phone at the time the incident occurred. We recently received information regarding a new Ops Test in which the testing officer phoned an on-duty employee on his personal cell phone, and then recorded the employee as failing the Ops Test because he answered the phone.
