PRODUCTIVITY FUND "GLITCH" IDENTIFIED
(1-22-01)

Employees' payroll printout earnings statements or "816" reports have not displayed acurate Productivity Fund share count information since the 2000 Productivity Fund closed. The best explanation we have been able to get is that when the 2000 Fund was closed, the computer programming for the "feed" of information from the Productivity Fund database to the 816 report was lost. In other words, all of the trip counts and shares are still being recorded and maintained in the database, but the information from that database is not being transferred to the 816 report. The Carrier advised that the programming necessary to correct the problem is nearing completion, and the 816 report should again display the share count information shortly.
