CHARLIE LITTLE RESIGNS AS INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT
(2-8-01)

On February 5, 2001, this office received a faxed letter from Brother Byron A. Boyd, advising of the sudden resignation of UTU President Charles L. Little apparently due to health problems. We have no further details at this time, and our prayers are with Brother Little and his family.

Under Article 2 of the UTU Constitution Brother Boyd succeeds to the office of International President, and the resulting vacancy in the office of Assistant President will be filled by appointment based on a 2/3's vote of the Board of Directors.
