Please pardon the pun. We learned yesterday that BNSF Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert D. Krebs intends to step down effective December 31, 2000. It appears that current President and Chief Operating Officer M. K. Rose will replace Krebs at the helm. An official announcement is expected soon.
